Abstract:
To obtain a new clavulone expected to develop physiological activity and to provide a method for simultaneously and simply synthesizing various kinds of clavulones including the new clavulone.
A method for combinatorial synthesis is used. Various kinds of (R)-4-hydroxy-4-(3-halogenoallyl)-2-cyclopentenones, 4-hydroxy-4-propargyl-2- cyclopentenones or (R)-4-hydroxy-4-propargyl-2-cyclopentenones are supported on a resin and reacted with various kinds of B-substituted-9- borabicyclo[3.3.1]nonane or iodine compounds, then with various kinds of aldehydes to synthesize various kinds of clavulones, which are removed from the resin.
