Abstract:
PURPOSE: To obtain a complex effective for removing coagulated blood or preventing its formation, comprising a polyethylene glycol and a tissue plasminogen activator.
CONSTITUTION: This derivative is shown by formula I [ACH2O is a polyethylene glycol(PEG) derivative; NHB is a tissue plasminogen activator (t-PA) derivative]. The derivative is obtained by bonding an activated PEG of formula II (X is an activated group) to t-PA in the presence of an alkali metal thiocyanate. Preferably, PEG is bonded to each molecule of t-PA. Preferably, PEG before the bonding is a monomethoxypolyethylene glycol.
