To provide a new composition whose complication of handling caused by an odor of a solvent, that is workability is improved and in which a maleimide polymer is uniformly dissolved in the composition containing the maleimide polymer.
In the composition containing the maleimide polymer obtained by polymerizing a bismaleimide and diamine and one or more solvents selected from a group composed of the following (A) and (B) when two or more solvents are used, two or more solvents may be selected from (A) or from (B), or one or more solvents may be selected from both the (A) and (B). (A): a highly polar alcoholic solvent having (1) an alcoholic hydroxide group and (2) one or more groups selected from the group composed of cyclic amide, chain-like ester, chain-like amide and cyclic ether. (B): a protonic amide solvent.
