Abstract:
To obtain a new cyclic siloxane compound having both an aliphatic unsaturated bond-containing organic group and a fluorine atom-containing alkyl group in one molecular structure and to provide a method for producing the same.
The cyclic siloxane compound is represented by general formula (1) (X is an aliphatic unsaturated bond-containing organic group; R is a 1-6C alkyl group or a phenyl group). The cyclic siloxane compound is used as a raw material for a silicone oil or silicone rubber and effective as a modifier for providing them with further improved properties and new physical properties or is used as a polymerizable monomer raw material to improve performances of various polymers or to give a polymer having new physical properties.
