Title:
NEW EARTHQUAKE-PROOF TABLE
Document Type and Number:
Japanese Patent JP2011092662
Kind Code:
A
Abstract:

To provide an earthquake-proof table with a structure with ability to receive a 60-ton load, thereby to bear the load even when wreckage, etc., falls down in an earthquake.

An iron top plate 2 is allowed to adhere onto the rear surface of a wooden top plate 1 so as to obtain a strong top plate. The iron top plate is supported at the respective corner parts and center part on the rear surface of the top plate by five legs 3 on which iron pipe caps 4 are fitted to the heads. A bottom board 6 where both front and rear surfaces are formed into an arcuate shape and wood, iron, and rubber are stuck to one another, is arranged at the bottoms between the five legs, so as to function to absorb impact and prevent slippage.
