Abstract:
To provide a compound useful for treatment of neurological disorders relevant to formation of amyloid β protein and of neurological disorders such as Alzheimer's disease.
There is disclosed the compound having a structure expressed by formula (I) (in the formula, X is CH2, O, NR1, SO2 or S), represented by N2-[(3,5-difluorophenyl)acetyl]-N1-[(2R, 3R)-2-(2,5-difluorophenyl)-4-oxo-2,3,4,5-tetrahydro-1,5-benzothiazepin-3-yl]-L-alaninamide, and effective for inhibiting γ-secretase activity.
