Abstract:
PURPOSE: To obtain the subject compound having excellent miticidal, insecticidal or anthelmintic activity against mites, plant vermin and animal parasites by culturing a microorganism belonging to the genus Streptomyces.
CONSTITUTION: The objective compound of formula (R is methyl or ethyl; R1 is methylene when the bond containing the dotted line between 4/26 sites is double bond or R1 is methyl when the bond is single bond) is produced by culturing a microorganism belonging to the genus Streptomyces (FERM BP-1072) by conventional method for the culture of microorganism of the genus Streptomyces.
