Abstract:

To provide a new optically active polymer substrate exhibiting a unique function, and its production method.

The optically active allene compound polymer is mainly composed of an optically active allene compound represented by general formula (I) and a constitutional unit represented by general formula (II), and has a degree of polymerization of at least 5. Also provided is its production method. In the formulae, R1 is an optically active substituent having an asymmetric carbon; R2 and R3 are each a hydrogen atom, an alkyl group or the like; n is an integer of at least 5; p and q are each an integer of at least 0 adding up to n; and M is a metal complex catalyst of a metal selected among group 9, 10 and 11 elements.
