Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To obtain a thermoplastic woven fabric capable of reducing thickness and air permeability, having excellent dimensional stability and to provide a method for producing the same. SOLUTION: A monofilament splittable in its sectional area is used as a part or the whole of a weft, the monofilament yarn is divided in its sectional area into plural parts at least at warp crossing parts when woven with warps and gap parts formed between the warps are filled with the divided monofilament pieces.
