Abstract:
PURPOSE: To obtain a new deriv. useful as an antineoplastic drug.
CONSTITUTION: This new deriv. is a diosmin heptakis (hydrogensulfate) aluminum complex expressed by the formula (R is SO3(Al2(OH)5)). The compd. of the formula is obtd. by reacting under controlling one mole of diosmin with several moles of a sulfating agent in anhydride pyridine or an alkylpyridine to obtain a diosmin heptakis (hydrogen sulfate) sodium salt expressed by the formula (R is SO3Na), and then adding an aluminum hydroxychloride soln. to react therewith.
