Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a nickel-based superalloy degradation diagnosis method which uses a simple degradation diagnosis method and achieves accurate degradation diagnosis.SOLUTION: There is provided the nickel-based superalloy degradation diagnosis method in which a nickel-based superalloy is subjected to heating treatment under a condition that satisfies a relationship between heating treatment temperature (T) and heating treatment time (t) defined by the following expression (1), then the presence of a crystal caused by re-crystallization in a nickel superalloy is measured. 31.0<[(T+273)(logt+20)]/1000<33.5 ...(1). The heating treatment is preferably done under a condition that satisfies the expression (1) within a heating treatment temperature range of 1,200-1,350°C and a heating treatment time range of 4-24 hours. A method of measuring the presence of the crystal caused by re-crystallization in the nickel superalloy uses a scanning electron microscope and an analysis device.
