EXAMPLE: 5-Bromo-6-(4'-t-butylbenzylthio)-3-ethyl-4-(3H)-pyrimidinone.
USE: Useful as an insecticide, miticide, nematrocide, agricultural and horticultural fungicide and agent for controlling blight and vermin.
PREPARATION: The compound of formula I can be produced e.g., according to the reaction formula by reacting the starting compound in a solvent in the presence of a base.
