Abstract:
PURPOSE: To provide an NO2 detecting material suitable for selective sensing of NO2, and a sensor employing that material, using lanthanum oxide and indium oxide.
CONSTITUTION: The NO2 detecting material is composed of oxides of La and In with the atomic ratio being set such that In/(La+In)=0.15-0.40. The NO2 sensor comprises a sensitive part composed of the NO2 detecting material and a part for measuring the conductivity at the sensitive part.
