PURPOSE: To allow a called party to recognize a name of a caller subscriber and a state of an incoming call encountered as to incoming calls while the called party is busy or does not reply the call due to absence by providing inexpensively a function of recording incoming call information without payment of a talking charge by the caller subscriber.
CONSTITUTION: A busy state/no reply detection section 11 detects whether or not an incoming call 6 to a called subscriber 5 from a caller subscriber 4 encounters a busy state or a no-reply of the called subscriber 5. A no reply call information write control section 12 writes a time when the incoming call is reached, a telephone number of the caller subscriber 4, and a state of the incoming call encountered on the occurrence of the busy state or no reply by the called subscriber 5 to a no reply call information recording memory 3 corresponding to the called subscriber 5. A no reply call information read control section 13 reads the content of the no reply call information recording memory 3 when a call connection control section 10 detects an access code from the called subscriber 5. An announcement controller 14 informs the content read from the no reply call information recording memory 3 to the called subscriber 5 via an announcement device 15.
