Abstract:

To provide a method for carrying a noble metal catalyst which is capable of carrying nano-particles of a noble metal in a dispersed state on a carrier and which has advantages in improving the problems of environmental loading and cost.

The method for carrying the noble metal catalyst includes the preparation step of preparing a mixture containing a precursor containing a noble metal element and the carrier having microwave absorbability, and the carrying step of having the nano-particles carried on the carrier with a state in which the nano-particles of the noble metal are dispersed by conducting the reduction treatment of the precursor through irradiating the mixture with microwaves to conduct the heat treatment.
