Abstract:
PURPOSE: To obtain a noble-metal plastic composition excellent in plasticity restoring property after dried and solidified and having good shapeability by specifying the composition consisting of a powdery noble-metal, acrylic resin, water-soluble cellulosic resin, grease and water.
CONSTITUTION: The noble-metal plastic composition consists of 70-99wt.% of a powder selected from the mixtures of a powdery noble-metal and/or a powdery noble-metal alloy and a powdery noble-metal or a powdery noble-metal alloy and a powdery metal or a powdery metallic alloy, 0.15% of an acrylic resin, 0.1-5% of a water-soluble cellulosic resin, 0.1-5% grease, ≤5% of lower alcohols, as required, ≤0.5% of a surfactant and the balance water with inevitable impurities. The composition has almost the same image formability as ordinary clay and is excellent in plasticity restoring property after dried. Accordingly, even the dried and solidified composition is dipped in water, etc., to restore its shapeability, the composition is used for repairing, and the material is reutilized.
