Abstract:
PURPOSE: To perform a hand-free telephone speech even from either microphone of the driver's seat and the assistant driver's seat by providing noise cancelers for sound signals from two microphones respectively.
CONSTITUTION: An FIR adaptive filter 14 generates an estimated noise signal estimating a noise component incorporated in the sound signal of the microphone 2 from a noise signal from the microphone 3. By subtracting the estimated noise signal from the sound signal from the microphone 2, an output signal 105 reducing the noise is obtained. The FIR adaptive filter 13 similarly generates the estimated noise signal estimating the noise component incorporated in the sound signal of the microphone 3 from the noise signal from the microphone 2 also. By subtracting the estimated noise signal from the sound signal from the microphone 3, the sound signal 104 reducing the noise is obtained. These two sound signals 104, 105 are added by an adder 17, and a sound output signal 103 is outputted through a D/A converter 18.
