Abstract:
PURPOSE: To improve the sound elimination performance by increasing the coefficients of an adaptive filter or that of a filter for filtered X signal genera tion as the total of the number speakers and the number of microphones of the noise cancellation system is decreased.
CONSTITUTION: Software programs 1 and 3 for adaptive signal processes, a step size parameter 2, and the coefficient 4 of a filter generating the reference signal of the signal process 9 are stored in a storage part 41 corresponding to various noise cancellation system which differ in the number of speakers and the number of microphones, and the software for the adaptive signal processes is so constituted as to performs the adaptive signal processes which increases the number of the coefficients of adaptive filters 34b as the total of the number of speakers and the number of microphones is decreased. A noise cancellation controller 34 performs the adaptive signal process by using the software, step size parameter, and filter coefficient corresponding to the noise cancellation system specified by a noise cancellation system indication part 42.
