Abstract:
To provide a noise control system and a noise control method that can reduce noise in an adjacent room by control in a noise source room.SOLUTION: There is provided a noise control system 1 that reduces noise in a sound receiving room adjacent to a noise source room provided with a noise source 9 by active noise control, which includes: a bandpass filter 11 that extracts a component of a first mode frequency in which sound is easily amplified in the noise source room and a component of the second mode frequency in which the sound is easily amplified in the sound receiving chamber; and an adaptive filter 13 that generates a control signal generating a control sound for cancelling the noise by using a signal extracted by the bandpass filter 11 to update filter coefficients an LMS algorithm.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1
