Abstract:
PURPOSE: To improve elimination characteristics corresponding to variation in noise frequency.
CONSTITUTION: The noise controller that eliminates a noise by outputting a sound wave which is opposite in phase and equal in sound pressure to the noise, is provided with an adaptive filter 123 which automatically adjusts a filter coefficient and generates the opposite-phase compensation signal with equal sound pressure, a filter coefficient updating means 124 which generates a filter coefficient updated with a noise signal and an error signal, a transfer characteristic simulating means 125 which corrects the input noise signal of the filter coefficient updating means 124 with characteristics obtained by simulating transfer characteristics from the adaptive filter 123 to the generation of the error signal, a frequency detecting means 121 which detects a noise frequency distribution, and a variable band filter 122 which optionally sets the passing frequency band of the noise signal according to the noise frequency distribution and controls input signals to the adaptive filter 123 and transfer characteristic simulating means 125.
