PURPOSE: To provide a noise-proof cover for a spun yarn winder that can reduce noise generated from the spun yarn winder.

CONSTITUTION: A turret 4 protrusively provided with two bobbin holders 5, 6 is rotatably supported on a machine body 2. An elevating frame 10 having a pressure contact roller 11 with which the bobbin holders 5, 6 come in rotational contact, and a traversing device 12 to yarn Y reaching the pressure contact roller 11 is provided elevatingly in relation to the machine body 2. A spun yarn winder of such constitution is provided with a noise-proof cover 31. This noise-proof cover 31 is fitted to the front face of the elevating frame 10 so as to cover at least the pressure contact roller 11 and traversing device 12, thereby reducing noise leaking out to the front face from noise source.
