Abstract:
To provide: a nonaqueous electrolyte which can raise a sulfur utilization rate and thus, increase a capacity density of a nonaqueous electrolyte power storage element when used in combination with a positive electrode including a predetermined amount of sulfur; and a nonaqueous electrolyte power storage element having a positive electrode including sulfur and a high capacity density.SOLUTION: A nonaqueous electrolyte according to an embodiment of the present invention is a nonaqueous electrolyte for a power storage element, which comprises a lithium salt, a polyether compound having four or more ether bonds, and fluorinated ether. The mole ratio of the lithium salt to the polyether compound is one or more. The mole ratio of the fluorinated ether to the lithium salt is five or more.SELECTED DRAWING: None
