Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a nonaqueous electrolyte secondary battery which has a flat wound electrode body, and is adequate in swelling after charge/discharge cycle and productivity.SOLUTION: The above problem is solved by a nonaqueous electrolyte secondary battery. The nonaqueous electrolyte secondary battery comprises: a wound electrode body arranged by putting together a positive and negative electrodes and a separator, winding them like whirling and flattening a roll of them in transverse section; a nonaqueous electrolyte; and an outer packaging case in which the wound electrode body and nonaqueous electrolyte are encased. The positive electrode has a metal current collector and a positive electrode mixture layer on each face of the current collector. The current collector of the positive electrode is 3.6 N/mm or more in tensile strength. The separator has an adhesive layer on one or each face thereof.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1
