PURPOSE: To increase the application range of a DCE (distributed calculation environment).
CONSTITUTION: Both non-DCE and DCE computer systems operate under the control of an operating system of a UNIX base having the ownership. The non-DCE computer system has the application client software which accesses the distributed DCE service component elements via an RPC(remote procedure call) mechanism that is acquired via the application server software included in the DCE computer system. A module of the least number of software component elements includes the client RPC run time component elements, the import API component elements included in a non-DCE and the component elements which are relative to the DCE computer system. Thus it is not required to access the DCE service via a non-DCE user application nor to import the DCE software service component elements to the non-DCE computer system.
