Abstract:
PURPOSE:To form a non-linear optical device having high efficiency by consisting an org. crystal of aminonitrophenol as a non-linear optical material. CONSTITUTION:A constituting element 1 is constituted of a solid laser and prism or optically polished surface by introducing coherent light having a 1st wavelength into the constituting element 1. The constituting element 8 consists of the crystal 11 of the aminonitrophenol as the non-linear optical material. This element 1 introduces the coherent light having a 1st frequency into the element 8 and the element 8 converts the 1st light to the coherent light having a 2nd frequency. The constituting element 15 utilizes the coherent light having a 2nd wavelength radiated from the element 8. The crystal 11 is given by the general formula as shown by the formula and executes phase matching.
