CONSTITUTION: The circuit is provided with a first gamma correcting circuit 7 to perform the gamma correcting processing corresponding to the standard of an interlace system television, for an image pick-up signal S from a CCD solid-state image pick-up element read by all picture elements independently and output a first gamma correcting signal γ1, and a second gamma correcting circuit 8 to perform the gamma correcting processing corresponding to the standard of a non-interlace system electronic still camera, for the image pick-up signal S from the CCD solid-state image pick-up element and output a second gamma correcting signal γ2, and the first gamma correcting signal γ1 from the first gamma correcting circuit 7 and the second gamma correcting signal γ2 from the second gamma correcting circuit 8 are outputted in parallel and simultaneously.
