Abstract:
To provide a non-linting water-absorbing polypropylene spun bond material suitable for uses in medical treatments, surgical operations and the like, and to provide a method for producing the same.
This method for producing the non-linting water-absorbing polypropylene spun bond material comprises a process for forming the porous sheet of the spun bond material and a process for coating the fibers of the material with a hydrophilic compound, thereby forming the non-linting water-absorbing polypropylene spun bond material suitable for uses in the medical treatments, the surgical operations and the like.
