Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a power generation facility that does not require seawater cooling by overcoming problems with conventional power generation facilities that it is necessary to perform a process for cooling a condenser by seawater to convert steam into liquid water and the conventional power generation facilities are not suited for an inland area where the seawater is unavailable while considering situations in which the new construction of power generation facilities near the seacoast needs careful consideration for high interest in tsunami and in which the cooling by the seawater needs careful consideration since there is a risk of tsunami or freezing from viewpoints of securing a cold source.SOLUTION: A pressurized water nuclear power generation facility generates electric power by rotating an air turbine 4 by the air using a PWR 1 as a heat source and not using a condenser. A thermal power generation facility generates electric power by burning asphalt in an asphalt combustion furnace to be used as a heat source and rotating the air turbine 4 by the air without using a condenser.
