PURPOSE: To obtain a non-slip sheet having excellent durability in outdoors by coating the rear of a support sheet composed of a thermoplastic polymer with a adhesive and coating a surface with polyurethane coating containing non-slip particle.
CONSTITUTION: The rear of a support sheet consisting of a thermoplastic polymer is coated with a pressure-sensitive adhesive of a rubber, vinyl ether, etc., and release paper is contact-bonded. On the other hand, 1-10 pts.wt. non-slip particles such as a synthetic rubber, a natural rubber, ethylene, a vinyl acetate copolymer, etc., are blended with polyurethane coating, thus preparing non-slip coating. The surface of a support is coated with the non-slip urethane coating and dried, thus manufacturing a non-slip sheet. Polyurethane acquired by the reaction of the polyhydric alcohol of adipate, etc., and a polyfunctional polyisocyanate compound is quoted as the concrete example of the thermoplastic polymer employed for the support sheet. The obtained non-slip sheet can be used effectively for the floor, deck, staircase, etc., of a building, etc.
