PURPOSE: To provide high transmission efficiency particularly in low speed change condition by eccentrically adjusting a drive friction wheel rotated together with an input shaft relative to an output shaft coaxial with the input shaft to make direct contact with a driven friction wheel through wedge engagement.
CONSTITUTION: When a lever 16 is set to the low condition, a drive friction wheel 19 is aligned with a driven friction wheel 63 by an eccentric cam 12 and rotated integrally with said driven friction 63 wheel by the wedge action of disk sections 58a, 61b due to a spring 19. And the rotation of an input shaft 30 rotates a drive rotor 18 through a ring gear 29, external gear 29a, internal transmission gear 26 and gear 22. Also, a driven rotor 44 and planet carrier 47 are rotated through both friction wheels 19, 63, and each planet gear 50 revolves integrally with the input shaft to rotate an output shaft 37 under the low speed change ratio of 1:1. Next when the lever 16 is pivoted, the output shaft 37 is rotated with acceleration. Thus, the high efficiency of slipless transmission can be obtained particularly under the low speed change condition.
