Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To prevent soft short-circuit from being generated in manufacturing a battery, in a nonaqueous secondary battery having high capacity. SOLUTION: An electrode is formed by forming an electrode coating film containing an active material and a binder on the front surface of a conductive base. A mixture of a polyvinylidene fluoride-based polymer and a cellulose polymer is used as the binder. The electrode coating film is constituted so that the cellulose polymer content on the coating film front surface side may be lower than the conductive base side. Therefore, flexibility of an electrode can be improved while keeping adhesive properties of the conductive base and the electrode coating film, the powder drop (the drop of the active material) from the electrode is restrained even if the electrode coating film is made dense for the purpose of the high capacity of the battery, and a generating probability of soft short-circuit can be reduced.
