Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a nonaqueous electrolyte battery which is equipped with such a function as remaining non-reacting active negative electrode component is surely cut off from a negative electrode collector when the collector is forcibly discharged at a discharge ending state time even if the collectors are manufactured in volume by an automatic winding process.
SOLUTION: A belt-like negative electrode 3 and a belt-like positive electrode 2 are superimposed as interposing a separator 4 between the same so as to form a stacked matter, and the laminated material is spiral-like wound as arranging the negative electrode 3 outside against the positive electrode 2 so as to form an electrode body 1. A negative aggregate 8 is arranged at a place on the inner peripheral side against the winding end 2a of the positive electrode 2 in the negative electrode 3. An insulation tape 20 for protecting the winding end 2a of the positive electrode 2 is set so that a joining portion 20a to the outer face of the positive electrode 2 is extended longer than the joining portion 20a to the inner face toward the winding core side direction of the electrode body 1 continuously or intermittently.
