PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a lithium secondary battery excellent in cycling property capacity and charge holing amount.
SOLUTION: In the nonaqueous electrolyte in which electrolyte is dissolved in nonaqueous solvent, the nonaqueous electrolyte contains tort-butye benzene derivative expressed at the following formula (I): wherein, R1, R2, R3, R4 and R5 indicate hydrogen atom or hydrocarbon of 1-12 in carbon number, respectively. And the lithium secondary cell uses the nonaqueous electrolyte.
