Title:
NONAQUEOUS ELECTROLYTE SECONDARY BATTERY
Document Type and Number:
Japanese Patent JP3443773
Kind Code:
B2
Abstract:

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a nonaqueous electrolyte battery having an excellent high-rate discharge characteristic.
SOLUTION: This nonaqueous electrolyte secondary battery is provided with a porous polymer electrolyte layer between a positive electrode and a negative electrode, and the positive electrode, the negative electrode and a porous polymer electrolyte are fixed to one another. It is preferable to provide the porous polymer electrolyte inside at least one of the positive electrode and negative electrode, and the porous polymer is preferably polyvinylidene fluoride or vinylidene fluoride/hexafluoropropylene copolymer. The nonaqueous electrolyte secondary battery can be manufactured via a first process of assembling the battery provided with the porous polymer layer between the positive electrode and negative electrode, a second process of filling an electrolyte in the battery, and a third process of heating the battery at 100°C or higher after sealing the battery.
