PURPOSE: The titled dispersion useful as a coating compound, adhesive, printing ink, liquid developing agent for electrostatic photography, etc., obtained by polymerizing a specific monomer with a specified acrylate monomer.
CONSTITUTION: Monomer A (e.g., compound shown by the formula II, etc.) shown by the formula I (R is H, or CH3; n is 2W20) is polymerized with (B) monomer B (e.g., lauryl methacrylate, etc.) shown by the formula III (R' is H, or CH3; X is COOCmH2m+1; m is 6W20) in a weight ratio of preferably 1W30/30W 70, and, if necessary, another polymerizable monomer C [e.g., (meth)acrylic acid, etc.] in an aliphatic hydrocarbon solvent (e.g., ligroin, etc.) in the presence of a polymerization initiator (e.g., benzoyl peroxide, etc.), to give the aimed dispersion.
