Title:
NONAQUEOUS SECONDARY BATTERY
Document Type and Number:
Japanese Patent JP3704780
Kind Code:
B2
Abstract:

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To obtain high discharging voltage to improve charging/ discharging cycle characteristic, by using negative and/or positive electrodes, containing the solid fine particle of an insulator having the specific surface area by a BET method of specific m2/g, and a nonaqueous electrolyte containing lithium salt.
SOLUTION: A scalelike graphite and acetylen black, etc., are mixed into a compound containing a solid fine particle such as &phiv , α, active alumina, and TiO2, etc., having a specific surface area by a BET method of 30-300m2/g or less. Slurry, wherein a binding agent and water are kneaded into the compund, is applied onto copper foil to be dried, thereby obtaining a negative electrode sheet 9. Also, slurry, wherein LICoO2, scalelike graphite, acetylene black, the binding agent, and water are kneaded, is applied onto the Al foil to be dried thereby obtaining a positive electrode sheet 8. A fine porous separator 10 is interposed, between sheats 8 and 9, to be spirally wound to be housed in a battery can 11, and then a nonaqueous electrolyte, containing lithium salt, is injected to seal the battery can 11 by a battery lid 12. This can obtain a nonaqueous secondary battery having high discharge operating voltage, large discharge capacity, and an excellent charging/discharging characteristic and an high- current aptitude.
