PURPOSE: To prevent the generation of noxious fumes in the even of a fire by filling a dried and solidified mixture of SiO2 system heat treatment product, alkali silicate as a hardening agent and water into a recess on a metal plate.
CONSTITUTION: A siding board is constituted of a metal plate in a thickness of about 0.2-0.3mm such as a steel plate or aluminum, etc., on which a recess 1 is formed and an inorganic plate 2 consisting of an inorganic substance filled into the recess. The inorganic plate 2 is such that the SiO2 system heat treatment product is the main ingridient, about 5-35wt.% of liquid of powdered alkali silicate as a molding-hardening agent and water are mixed therewith, and it is dried and solidified. According to the constitution, the SiO2 system heat treatment product as the main ingridient is heated one time, so that there is no crack caused by contraction, and the generation of noxious fumes in the event of a fire can be prevented because it is inorganic.
