Abstract:
PURPOSE: To obtain a chewing gum, comprising a propylene glycol ester of a fatty acid in a gum base, hardly sticking to the denture, its base, etc., and excellent in flavor and texture.
CONSTITUTION: The nonsticking chewing gum is obtained by including preferably 1-10% (more preferably 3-5%) propylene glycol ester of a fatty acid (a compound of the formula is especially preferred) which is a lipophilic α crystalline emulsifier in a gum base.
