Abstract:
PURPOSE: To obtain a simple process for the production of a nonwoven fabric having soft surface and holding figures and patterns having excellent designability and pale color.
CONSTITUTION: This nonwoven fabric is produced by placing a dry nonwoven fabric 1 composed of polyester short fibers on a spun-bond nonwoven fabric 2 composed of continuous polypropylene filaments and having a pattern printed to the surface by flexographic printing, bonding both fabrics by needle-punching to pull-out a part of the fiber of the dry nonwoven fabric 1 through the spun- bond nonwoven fabric 2 to the reverse side and subjecting the product to shearing process.
