Abstract:
To provide a method of producing a nonwoven fabric which is not entangled into a net of a collection belt even if increasing a number of crimps of a crimped fiber.SOLUTION: The method of producing a nonwoven fabric 5 includes a process of accumulating crimped fibers 4 on a collection belt 51, and transporting the crimped fibers 4, where the number of crimps of the crimped fiber 4 is 15-50 pieces/25 mm, the average value of widths orthogonal to a transporting direction in concave regions 52G of respective surfaces of the collection belt 51 is 0.2-0.6 mm, and the average area is 0.1-0.4 mm2. The crimped fibers 4 accumulated on the collection belt 51 can be transported without floating if the average width orthogonal to a transporting direction in the concave regions 52G is 0.2 mm or more, and the average area is 0.1 mm2 or more. The crimped fibers 4 is hard to be entangled to the net 52 if the average width orthogonal to a transporting direction in the concave regions 52G is 0.6 mm or less, and the average area is 0.4 mm2 or less.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 3
