Title:
NONWOVEN FABRIC FOR MOLDED BODY AND MOLDED BODY USING THE SAME AND THEIR PRODUCTION
Document Type and Number:
Japanese Patent JP2000119945
Kind Code:
A
Abstract:

To provide a molded body that has excellent mechanical properties, dimensional stability, compression properties and a large specific volume bulk, and a nonwoven fabric for efficiently producing the molded bodies.

The first nonwoven web layer that contains staple fibers made of the first thermoplastic polymer is laminated with staple fibers made of the second thermoplastic polymer that melts at a temperature more than 30°C lower than the melting point of the first thermoplastic polymer on at least one face. The fibers constituting the first nonwoven web layer and the fibers constituting the second nonwoven web layer are mutually entangled three-dimensionally and integrally by the action of a high-pressure fluid to form the objective nonwoven fabric. This nonwoven fabric has a numerical aperture of 30-60%, and the void number of 10-100 voids/cm2.
