To provide a nonwoven fabric wall paper solving the problems of difficulty in combining three-dimensional feeling or voluminous feeling, increased surface abrasive strength and aesthetic surface printing together and of difficulty in producing such a wall paper at low cost in addition to accomplishing the above combination in conventional nonwoven fabric wall paper.
This nonwoven fabric for wall paper is composed of a layer containing 25-60 wt.% of thermofusible fibers and a 2nd layer containing 35-75 wt.% of the thermofusible fibers; wherein the content of the thermofusible fibers in the 2nd layer is ≥10 wt.% higher than that in the 1st layer, both the layers are produced by an integrated wet papermaking process, and the surface abrasive strength of the 2nd layer is rated at a rank of ≥3.5. The 2nd objective method for producing the above nonwoven fabric is also provided. The other objective nonwoven fabric wall paper made of the above nonwoven fabric is characterized by having an emboss depth of 0.10-0.50 mm and a surface abrasive strength rated at a rank of 5.0.
