Abstract:
To provide a nonwoven fabric winding roll which is resistant to abrasion of a surface and hardly deteriorates in the performance of winding a nonwoven fabric.
The nonwoven fabric winding roll 9 consists of a hard material such as an alloy containing any in the group consisting of nickel-chromium steel, stainless steel, titanium and aluminum or an element thereof. This basic material of the roll is subjected to shot blasting and further to electric-arc spraying or gas spraying. It can also be subjected further to plasma spraying of a ceramic. The surface roughness of the roll is 5 μm Ra and 30 μm Rz or above and the friction coefficient is 0.22 or above.
