Abstract:

To provide a noodle charging and discharging method to a pressure vessel receiving a tank for boiling noodle in a pressurized and high temperature condition without damage on noodles, and a rotary valve for performing the method.SOLUTION: A noodle charging and discharging method to a pressure vessel receiving a tank for boiling noodle in a pressurized and high temperature condition comprises: making pre-boiled noodles flow with hot water into a compartment of a rotor of the rotary valve through which the noodles are charged; rotating the compartment; and performing injection in an equalized pressure section in which the noodles are not contained, wherein at least one equalized pressure section is arranged in addition to noodle containing sections configured to contain noodles by separating the compartment of the rotor to a plurality of sections by a ventilation wall to make pressure of the compartments equal to a high pressure side of the pressure vessel before making the noodles flow into the pressure vessel from a noodle inflow port. Similarly, the noodles boiled in the pressure vessel provided with a pressure equalization mechanism are discharged from the compartment of the rotor in a noodle discharge rotary valve.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 4
