PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a noodle piece readily gripped and edible by persons handicapped in eyes or hands.
SOLUTION: This noodle piece 1a is obtained by forming a cut line 2 passing from the right side through the noodle piece 1a to the back side in the longitudinal direction of the noodle piece 1a over the full length of the noodle piece 1a in the nearly central part of the width direction of the rectangular noodle piece 1a to positions somewhat inside from both edges of the noodle piece 1a. One or a plurality of small holes 6 are bored near both terminal ends of the cut line 2 and a little toward the ends of the noodle piece 1a. When the noodle piece 1a is boiled, the noodle piece 1a is swollen and wholly enlarged to make the part of the cut line 2 rather opened. Thereby, the noodle piece 1a becomes a boiled noodle piece 1a which is close to a rectangular shape but is an annular shape. The noodle piece 1a is easily hooked by a fork or chopsticks. When the cut line 2 is extended with external force to reach the small holes 6, the cut line 2 is suppressed from extending further. As a result, the annular shape of the noodle piece 1a can be maintained.
