Abstract:
PURPOSE: To make an exchange of tips and recovery of a function easy, by a method wherein a nose bar to pressure-contact a tip in the vicinity of a cutting edge abutting against material wood is constituted by fixing a plurality of the tips to a holder main body by a plurality of stationary blocks.
CONSTITUTION: A nose bar 9 of a veneer cutting machine is to pressure-contact a tip in the vicinity of a cutter edge abutting against material wood. In this case, the nose bar 9 is constituted by fixing a plurality of tips 15, 17 to a holder main body 13 by a plurality of stationary blocks 19, 21. Then the holder main body 1 forms a forked part 27 on at least the lower part and a plurality of connecting parts 29, 31 on the lower end part. Then the tips 15, 17 each are connected with the connecting parts 29, 31 each and the stationary blocks 19, 21 each are fixed by screws 41, 43 each. Hereby, except for that an exchange of the tips 15, 17 is made easy, a function of the nose bar 9 is recovered by only exchanging the stationary blocks 19, 21 each without exchanging the holder main bodies 13.
