Further, this notch processing apparatus is equipped with an inclining mechanism (rotary shaft 3) for exactly opposing the cutting member moving plane of the cutting member moving part 1 to the cutting surface of timber to be cut parallelly and relatively inclining the cutting member moving plane with respect to the timber within a perpendicular plane passing the center line of the timber.
