To provide a notification apparatus appropriately notifying of the presence of an object.SOLUTION: A notification apparatus 100 includes an object detecting section 111 for detecting an object in the periphery of a person, a distance calculating section 112 for calculating a distance from the person to the object, and a notification control section 113 that, when the distance between the person and the object becomes a first distance from a state where the distance is larger than the first distance, notifies the person thereof using a first notification device causing the person's foot to detect the notification, and when the distance between the person and the object becomes a second distance shorter than the first distance, notifies the person thereof using a second notification device causing the person's hand or arm to detect the notification.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 2
