The notification system is provided with an automatic ticket gate for reading boarding information from a ticket stored with boarding information for specifying at least a train on which the passenger rides and a seat; a computer mounted on the train; and a notification means installed on the seat of the train and operated for performing the predetermined notification to the passenger sitting on the seat. The computer is provided with a boarding information obtaining means for obtaining the boarding information read by the automatic ticket gate; and a notification control means for controlling so as to operatively notify the notification means installed on the seat of the train based on the obtained boarding information.
