Abstract:
NEW MATERIAL:The 2,2'2"-tris(hydroxycyclohexy)-1,3,5-triisopropylbenzenes of formula I (R1WR6 are H, halogen, 1W5C alkyl or 1W5C alkoxy).
EXAMPLE: 2,2',2"-Tris(4-hydroxycyclohexyl)-1,3,5-triisopropylbenzene.
USE: Useful as a raw material for various polymeric materials having excellent physical properties, especially heat-resistance and water-resistance, additives of various polymeric materials, raw material for said additives, additives of various oily products such as brake oil, their raw material or raw material for various organic compound products such as peroxides.
PREPARATION: The compound of formula I can be produced by nucleushydrogenation of a triphenol compound of formula II.
